Sri Lanka 5 nights 6 days

Day 1

Arrive Colombo . Our representative greets you at the 'meeting point' at the exit after immigration and customs and transfers you comfortably to your hotel in Colombo (check in after 1400 hrs).
Embark on a orientation tour of Colombo. Drive through the city and see famous places like Galle Face Green, the Viharamahadevi Park, National Museum, Twin World Trade Center towers, Old Parliament Building, Fort district, Independence Hall at Independence Square.

Day 2

Onto Dambulla
After breakfast at your hotel, proceed to Dambulla and visit the Dambulla Rock Temple built by King Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and a World Heritage Site. It is the most impressive of Sri Lanka's cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. meters of painted walls and ceilings is the largest area of paintings found in the world. It contains over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is the colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 meters.

Day 3

Today After breakfast also visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, an orphanage, nursery and captive breeding ground for wild Asian elephants located at Pinnawala village. Next, proceed to Kandy. It is also the island's second largest city. At an elevation of 465 meters above sea level, Kandy is located 129 Km North-East of Colombo. Nestling amidst low hills, and looped by the Mahaweli river; Kandy is the country's religious and cultural center and a World Heritage City .On arrival embark on aguided orientation tour of Kandy, the last Royal Capital of Sri Lanka. It is home to the Royal Palace, you also visit theTooth Relic Temple followed by a traditional Kandyan dance - the national dance of Sri Lanka.

Day 4

In Kandy
AAfter breakfast, depart for Nuwara Eliya for a day excursion.
Nuwara Eliya (City of Lights) is a resort city in the Central Mountain Range of Sri Lanka, which is known as the tea-country blessed with salubrious climate, breathtaking views of valleys, meadows, mountains and greenery. Embark on aguided orientation tour of Nuwara Eliya. The old brick Post office, The Hill club with its hunting pictures, trophies and strict formal dinner attire, the 18 -hole golf course, horse race course, all remind you of "England". Continue to Kandy.

Day 5

Onto Bentota
Today After breakfast, proceed to Bentota via Kitulgula. Indulge in the optional White Water Rafting in the picturesque Kelani River, the broadest river in Sri Lanka.
Kitulgula is perfect for those seeking an adventure filled with thrills and spills. Both amateurs and professionals are welcome to ride the rapids on the white water sections of the Kelani River right above Kitulgula, which generate grade 2/3 rapids and sometimes even grade 4 and 4+ rapids.
Optional: White Water Rafting at Kelani River.
This activity is for individuals above the age of 10 years with safety gear, modern rafts, and a prior comprehensive safety briefing by white water rafting instructors. The distance covered is around 5 kms. The river and its surrounding will enchant you, leaving you with a memorable experience.
On arrival at Bentota, the day is free to enjoy the different water sports activities on offer from your hotel (at your own expense), or simply relax by the beach.

Day 6

Homeward Bound
Today after breakfast proceed to Colombo .Enjoy your free time shopping at stores such as at Odel, House of Fashion, Beverly Street, Noritake etc.

Good times need never end! As you get ready for the airport and your flight back home.
